Digitization & Storage

Digitization of instructional materials will receive priority over non-instructional materials. Digitization of instructional materials may be further prioritized according to when they are needed.

There is no charge for digitizing and storing materials that are to be used for instructional purposes in courses for which UT gives credit and charges a fee. DMS will digitize and store non-instructional materials for the UT community at the following rates:

• Video materials: $60.00 per hour of digitized media, or $1.00 per minute with a 15 minute minimum.
• Audio materials: $60.00 per hour of digitized media, or $1.00 per minute with a 15 minute minimum.
• Text or image scanning: $1.00 per page/image, or $0.40 per scan for items that can be sheet-fed.
• Storage: $5.00 per gigabyte per month, or $0.005 per megabyte per month
